DESCRIPTION

A ready-to-use, single component, solvent free, silicone that cross links with the substrate to form an insoluble water barrier.

BASIC USES

Brush, roller or sprayed on most alkaline surfaces, such as brick, masonry, concrete and cementitious grouts to form a deeply penetrating water repellant seal.

Coverage is dependent on porosity of the substrate, however a coverage of 20 to 40 SF/L can be expected on most common construction materials.

Shelf life is 6 months at 5°C (40°F) to 24°C (77°) away from sun and direct heat.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Surface preparation: All surfaces must be sound, clean and free of all contaminants that would prevent penetration. Surface may be slightly damp, however an excess of moisture on the surface will impede penetration.

460 is supplied ready to use with no dilution necessary and is best applied by airless sprayer with fan type spray nozzle.

Clean up with clean water.

WARNING

460 Water Repellent Sealer may slowly evolve hydrogen gas. In the presence of acids, bases, heavy metals or their compounds, the rate of evolution is increased. Work areas must be adequately ventilated to prevent the accumulation of hydrogen.

Keep the material away from sparks, heat and open flames.

Direct eye contact may cause slight discomfort which is  relieved by flushing with water.

DO NOT ALLOW TO FREEZE.
